Kathleen
Miller Thomas is largely a self-taught artist, who prefers mixed
media and pastel. She has studied with local artists as well as in
France; she also attended the La Romita School of Art in Italy in
the summer of 1999.
Recent
exhibits include:

“Pastels U.S.A.”, 16th Annual International Open
Exhibition, Pastel Society of the West Coast, 2002;
-
“Members’ Part II” Exhibit, Santa Cruz Art League, 2002; and
-
“71st Annual Statewide Exhibit”, 2001.
Her
mixed media piece, “Despair and Hope”, is now part of the Special
Collections of the McHenry Library, University of California, Santa
Cruz.
