In the listing of dimensions, height
precedes width, precedes depth.
This body of work ignores
ceramics as a material "Culture", i.e., its traditional language
of volume or enclosure. Included are both natural and
architectural forms - a vocabulary which has evolved over the
past for years. Bearing names redolent of their sources,
the sculptures entitled Vika, Flume and ScanDan
Wall have garnered international recognition. Coloration denotes the play of
nature, while surfaces record the natural evolutionary process.
