Amanda West is a singer-songwriter, recording artist, music teacher and mother.
A native of California, Amanda grew up singing around campfires and began her career as a performing singer-songwriter when she was a teen. Through her studies and travels she has come to understand music to be a part of our universal human birthright, playing an essential role in our experience of being alive.
In addition to touring, recording, and managing her own label & production company, Amanda co-leads singing circles for pregnant women, and teaches voice, guitar and songwriting. She has taught classes throughout Santa Cruz county as well as at the Oakland Rock (‘n Roll) Camp for Girls. She loves to share the beauty and power of music with others, and holds an unstoppable faith that music can change the world for the better.
She lives in the Santa Cruz mountains with her young family and many instruments.
